Fresh 48 sessions might be my absolute favorite on all of planet earth to shoot. Some of my very favorite, most special moments with my boys were those first few moments with my boys, each one so very different. My oldest son came the old fashioned way - you know, 27 hours of labor, followed by a good hour or so of pushing, and then he was here. My perfect tiny human had arrived and our lives were changed forever. Our second son, Benjamin came by emergency cesarean after 8 hours of labor, and almost 9cm dilated, and 2 subsequent cesareans followed for Ryan and William; each for different reasons, but they all arrived safely and that's what mattered most. The moments following each of their births were magic. Quiet moments snuggling each of them, learning each other. Memorizing every mark, every sound, every sweet cry was impossible but it's all I wanted in the world; to hold on to each of those precious first seconds forever. I'm so Capturing these moments for my clients remind me of my own first look at my boys, and for me that's everything I could ever hope for.
